Henry Moore (1898-1986)

His studio, Much Hadham, Hertfordshire
29 October 1977

Best-known for his monumental, semi-abstract sculptures in bronze that explore the human form, Moore’s works feature in more public spaces around the world than any other sculptor in history. His numerous studios are in the park that surrounds his house.

‘This studio, is actually a one-room shed…the space was small so I had to set up my camera outside, despite a misty rain. Ronny stood gallantly holding a large umbrella sheltering me and my camera.’
